Streaming to YouTube Live with Livesync is simple and seamless. Broadcasting is available for Starter Plan users and above, so ensure you have an eligible plan before proceeding.

Follow these steps to set up YouTube Live streaming and start broadcasting with real-time face swapping.

Step 1: Open Backstage & Access Streaming Settings


  1. Go to the Streaming section in your Livesync dashboard.
  2. Start a Backstage session.
  3. Click the ⚙️ Settings icon next to the Backstage button.
  4. Navigate to the Destination tab and click Add Destination.

Step 2: Set Up YouTube Live & Get Your Stream Key


  1. Go to YouTube Live Control Room.
  2. Click Go Live in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Right NowStreaming Software.
  4. In the Stream Settings section, copy your Stream Key.
  5. The default Stream URL for YouTube Live is:
  • rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2

Step 3: Add YouTube Live as a Destination in Livesync

  1. In the Destination settings of Livesync, enter the following:
  • Stream URL: Paste YouTube’s RTMP URL from Step
  • Stream Key: Paste your YouTube Stream Key.
  1. Click Save to apply the settings.

Step 4: Go Live & Start Broadcasting


  1. Click Go Live in Livesync—your stream will start immediately.
  2. Open YouTube Live Control Room to confirm that your stream is active.

Step 5: Enjoy Your Live Stream! 🎭
